BUTLER JH DUALS TOURNAMENT

Weigh-ins:
-Please report to the weigh in with your team and weigh all members in.
-There will be only 1 weigh in.
-You may weigh in multiple wrestlers as in any dual meet and change them prior to each
match.You should at this time also confirm your entry fee has been received.
Weights :
- PIAA weight classes scratch weight.
- Coaches should contact the tournament director if they have a match Friday and an
additional pound will be added.
- Copies of each teams weigh in sheets will be provided to each coach prior to the
start of the first match.
Matches :
- PIAA adopted times for all matches.
- We will draw a weight class at the time of the weigh-in and start the 9:30 session
with that weight.
- Each subsequent session will start at the next weight class in order.
Format :
- Six teams will each wrestle round-robin format (attached).
- Start times may be moved up if all matches end early.
- I tried to keep each team on the same mat at least twice in a row.

Mats:
Matches will run simultaneously on three regulation mats.
JV level matches when possible should be set up each round to run after
each dual.
Registration:
$150 Entry fee for each team to be paid to Butler Wrestling.

I would like a team roster with certified minimum weights to be sent to
me through email gtwcoach@yahoo.com by Thursday, December 18th.
Awards:
Awards will be provided for the team champion and team runner-up.
Team placement:
Teams will be placed based on the following criteria.
1.Win-Loss record for the day.
2.A tie will be broken by the head to head result.
3.A three-way tie will be broken by the team with the most overall wins contested.
4.The team with the most overall team points.
5.The team with the greatest point differential over all opponents
Facilities:Seating is somewhat limited. Locker room storage is plentiful. Please
ask athletes to bring locks for anything they will not need during competition.
Concessions:Concessions will be available throughout the day.
